Director

25+ years’ experience providing business continuity, crisis management and risk consulting services to clients in Australia, Asia and Europe.

Comprehensive expertise providing consulting and advisory services to boards and senior management in the education, financial services, retail, arts & media and other commercial and public sectors.

Proficient in the development and review of BC and CM frameworks and policies, creating response plans and resilience tools, post incident reviews and delivery of customised BC and CM training for teams and practitioners.

Developed and led BC and CM exercises for over 100 organisations, covering diverse scenarios from cyber-security, product recall, extortion to cyclones and major natural disasters.

Member of development team for ISO 22301 Business Continuity standard and editor/ section author for the BCI’s Good Practice Guidelines 2018 and 2013 Editions.

Honorary Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (Hon FBCI), global Chair of the BCI 2019-2020 and past leader of the Australian BCI Chapter.

Comprehensive experience in hostage negotiation and crisis management, including 25 years’ Service with the NSW Police.

Graduate qualifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Police and Counter-Terrorist Negotiation.

Leads training in Negotiation Communications for clients in the Insurance, Banking and other industries with focus on risks in customer facing roles such as assessment and claims management.

Facilitates Emergency Management training and exercise workshops across Retail, Commercial Office, Industrial and Retirement Living sectors.

Develops incident and emergency management plans, simulation exercises, multi-agency exercises and other specialist training programs.

Specialist in the development and delivery critical incident training, simulations and role-based scenario training services to Boards and senior management.

Over 25 years’ experience in Business Continuity, IT and Operational Risk in consulting and operational management roles.

Significant expertise in the development and exercising of Business Continuity and Crisis Management capabilities for private and public sector organisations.

Proficient in the development of business impact analysis, business continuity plans and frameworks, business continuity strategies and management programmes regulatory reviews, business continuity training for managers and team members.

Detailed project management experience obtained across risk management, business change, compliance, and implementation projects.

Certified Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) and volunteer leader of the NSW BCI Chapter.
